The Annapolis Area Christian Eagles pulled-out another win, Monday night, overcoming early forfeits and pinning to a 45-27 victory.

Conceding a pair of forfeits off the bat, the Eagles quickly fell to a 12-point deficit ti Mitchell Best and Nick Armero a 285 and 103, respectively, and another forfeit to Mike Van Slyke at 119 dug the whole a bit deeper.

But the Eagles, already on the board with a Micha Cotton decision at 112, would string together five consecutive falls to take a demanding lead and eventual victory.

Starting the five-bout run, Warren Boord and Dave Sandacz worked falls at 125 and 130, with added pins from Jake Miller (135), Nick Riehl (140) and Sam Fontz (145) for a 33-18 lead.

Annalpolis Area Christian would go on to see falls by Joel Bowers at 160 and Danny Danckwerth (189), which would cancel the St. Mary’s decision by Peter Liembach (171) and forfeit to Connor Crowley at 215 for the 45-27 final.

The Eagles will next see Severn in wrestling action, Jan. 26, as St. Mary’s takes on Lutheran.
