Annapolis Area Christian concluded a perfect football season Friday night, defeating visiting Friends, 44-0, in a MIAA C Conference game to finish at 10-0 and extend their win streak to 17 games. Not bad for a program only four years old.
The Eagles led only 7-0 at the end of one quarter, as Jon Hunter put them on the board with a 57-yard run. However, Hunter opened the second quarter with two more touchdowns, including a 60-yard punt return, and AACS scored 28 points in the period to take a 35-0 halftime lead.
James Anderson rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the victory, while Anderson finished 73 yards rushing.
