Playing on Labor Day, the Annapolis Area Christian boys soccer team came to work in the championship game of the Crab Pot soccer tournament, downing host Annapolis, 2-0, to claim the title.

Nate Schmidt and Daisuke Inous handled the offense for the Eagles, who improved to 2-0 on the year.

In the consolation game, Michael Bonacci scored the only goal of the contest to lift St. Mary’s to 1-0 victory over Key School.  John Kluh provided the assist in the 56th minute.

Nick Hoffman made six shots to record the shutout, while Key’s Alex Schulman stopped 14 shots.
