No. 11 River Hill notched another two wins to the ever-growing record, topping Oakland Mills and Centennial in a Howard County tri-meet, Thursday.
Winning all but two matches against Centennial, the Hawks stuck six of their 11 opponents, and added six other forfeits and point-wins to top the Eagles, 67-11.
The Hawks saw a few more matches slide away against Oakland Mills, winning nine matches with four falls, a tech fall, three decisions and a forfeit in the 43-24 victory.
Kirby (171), Messallam (189) and Johnson (285) each pinned their way through Thursday’s competition, sticking both their opponents, and four others posted a two-win night, including Benedict (215), Mohammed (103), Linden (119), Kirby (130) and Daniel (140).
Oakland Mill had five individual wins against River Hill, and added nine more in the 42-24 win over Centennial.
DoQoang, Yarn, Farace and Moore all posted two wins for the Scorpions, with DoQuang, Farae and Moore earning a collective 36 points in the two matches.
Centennial won six matches in the two team-losses, with Kraisser being the only wrestler to win in both matches.
River Hill next heads to the Cavalier Duals this weekend, while Oakland Mills faces Harford tech, Jan. 21, and Centennial heads to Mount Mat Madness.
