From start to finish, the Patterson Mill Huskies were dominant against the Perryville Panthers, starting with a five-run first inning and cruising to a 10-0 win in five innings, Thursday.
Roman pitched the five-inning shutout for the Huskies, striking-out four batters and allowing just two hits, while Jimmy Salamone and Marr Golczewski got things done at the plate.
Salamone drove in two runs in his one-for three day, helping in two two-run innings in the second and fifth, while Golczewski ripped an RBI-double and stole a base while contributing in a one-run fourth.
Patterson Mill is now 7-0 in the Upper Chesapeake bay Athletic Conference’s Susquehanna Division, going a perfect 9-0 overall in 2011.
