Lions improve to 7-1 with a 7-1 victory over Towson

No. 12 Dulaney continues dominate in Baltimore County’s Division A and the Lions picked up another win, on Tuesday, defeating Towson, behind a big day from Ben Stoner.

Stoner had a double, scored a run and drove in three runs to help Dulaney remain undefeated in its league, at 7-0, and improve to 7-1 overall.

Bryce Frederick went 2-for-3 with an RBI, Todd Mozoki had two hits and two runs scored and Michael Bernhardt had a pinch hit RBI double.

Jack Tarantino was the winning pitcher, going five shutout innings, allowing just two hits and striking out five. Gabe Pinché worked the final two innings for the Lions and allowed one run.

Andrew Decker went 2-for-3 for Towson (2-5 overall, 2-5 Baltimore County A), Robert Brino doubled and Ben Sebastian drove in the Generals’ only run.
