The Owls hammer Patapsco, 82-35
Monday’s first quarter for the Dundalk Owls looked strikingly similar to the layup drill the team ran during pre-gram warmups, as the hosts scored 40 first quarter points and went on to hammer visiting Patapsco, 82-35, in Baltimore County boys basketball action.
Patapsco hardly kept up in the opening frame, managing just eight points and the Patriots found themselves trailing by 32 points after the opening stanza. That allowed the Owls to substitute early and often as 10 different Dundalk players worked themselves into the scoring column, with four cracking double figures.
Gates Cook led the way with 18 points, followed by 16 from Will Fedd, 13 netted by Jaylon Johnson and 12 scored by Mike Johnson.
Dundalk advanced to 10-2 overall this season and the Owls remain undefeated (5-0) in Division 1 of Baltimore County. Patapsco is now 1-10 overall and 0-5 in the league.
