Last fall, perennial MIAA A Conference soccer power Archbishop Curley struggled early in the year, but still managed to battle its way into the league playoffs.  This fall, head coach Barry Stitz fields the youngest team he has had in his tenure with the Friars, but he is very excited about the talent on hand.

Stitz has also added long-time friend and fellow Baltimore Blast alum Tim Whitman to his staff to bolster the instruction for his young players.  Whitman’s son is a freshman on the team.

Here is a preseason outlook on Curley from Stitz, Whitman and players J.P. O’Connor and Ricky Greensfelder.
