Top-ranked Archbishop Spalding improved to 2-0 in field hockey and the Cavaliers still have not allowed a goal, after Friday’s 4-0 win over Chesapeake-AA.

The Cavs broke on top with two goals in the first 11 minutes and score two more after the half.

Margot Lawn led the way with two scores, while Jenna Garden and Hannah Bouchard each scored once.

Alexis Wade made 11 stops in the Chesapeake goal, while Megan Nemechek earned the shutout for the Cavaliers with five stops.
