After two weeks of play, only two teams remain undefeated in the highly competitive St. Paul’s summer basketball league which is played  in Brooklandville on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  City, McDonogh and John Carroll are the only teams without a loss.

The Patriots topped Oakland Mills 53-20 on Thursday, and New Town (3-1) got a hard earned 47-41 overtime win over Gilman (1-1).

The Patriots, who recently won the Baltimore Catholic League and the MIAA A Conference championships, have wins over Glen Burnie, New Town, St. Paul’s and Oakland Mills.

City has defeated Joppatowne and Parkville.

The Knights and the Patriots will meet on July 5 at 7:00 p.m.

The top eight teams will participate in league playoffs at Stevenson University on July 26 and 28.
