Rayn Gibson had four RBI and Kayla Rieswig went 2-for-3 with a RBI as No. 11 Bel Air High defeated 15th-ranked Hereford, 6-5, in a non-league softball contest Monday afternoon in Baltimore County.
Gibson, a junior, struck out 15, increasing her career total to 494. Leah Lozzi had a two-run double and Breanna Fleischmann doubled twice for the Bobcats (14-3 overall).
Vanessa Hogan and Erin Collins each homered and drove in two runs for Hereford (11-4), which takes on No. 1 Eastern Tech in the Baltimore County finals Tuesday afternoon at CCBC-Catonsville. Bel Air hosts Bohemia Manor Tuesday in an UCBAC Chesapeake match.
