Bohemia Manor Eagles

2016 record: 7-4 (Class 1A East Region semifinalist)

2016 review: The Eagles finished second in the UCBAC Susquehanna to Elkton, which reached the 2A state final. The Cecil County school is set to return 20 letterwinners, including receiver/defensive back Johnny Knight, linebacker/running back Devin Gatewood and kicker/punter Nick Burns.

2017 opponents' win/loss record (from 2016): 41-64 (.390)

Toughest 2017 opponent: Elkton. The Elks won the Susquehanna crown en route to the 2A state title match last fall. The Cecil County school returns one of the region's top running backs in senior Raiquon Estep.

Most intriguing 2017 opponent: Aberdeen. The Eagles may be ready to challenge for the UCBAC Chesapeake crown after losing four games by seven points or less last season. Josh Maxwell, who holds a scholarship offer from Morgan State University, could be the region's best unknown running back.
