Gators down Towson, 7-1, in Baltimore County
Two teams which have both spent time in the VSN Baseball Top 20 this season, battled on the baseball diamond at Towson, Thursday, and visiting Perry Hall pulled off an impressive 7-1 Baltimore County Division A victory, avenging a season-opening loss to the Generals.

Kendall Gardner was one of five Gators to post a two-hit game, had the biggest blow of all, a two-run home run. Rex Marshall, Kennard Gardner, Kevin Cramer and Ben Tharpe also had a pair of base knocks for Perry Hall.

That was more than enough support of pitcher Brandon Yu, who tossed a complete game, throwing just 86 pitches, striking out nine and walking none.

Perry Hall is hoping the win will prove to be a turning point in its season. The Gators (3-7 overall) are now 2-6 in Division A.  Towson (5-7 overall) is now 5-3 in the league.
