River Hill’s Kindbom shines in the circle and at the plate

Hawks bust open softball game with Hammond, win 11-6
Quinn Kindbom had it going both in the circle and at the plate, Wednesday, leading visiting River Hill to an 11-6 Howard County softball victory over Hammond.

Kindbom walked just two and struck out seven, while allowing only two earned runs.  At the plate, Kindbom collected two hits and also reached on a hit by pitch.

Delanie Vintz who went 3-for-5 for the Hawks, with a triple and three RBI's, while Victoria Koutras went 2-for-4. In addition, Crystal Lin, who made a nice running catch in the field, went 2-for-4 with a single and her first career home run.

River Hill scored four times in the top of the first, but Hammond batted back to tie the game after two innings. The lead was 7-6 after six when the Hawks put things away with a four-run seventh inning.
