The Hereford girls lacrosse team which debuted in the VSN Girls Lacrosse Top 20 this week, made a case for a long stay in the poll, Tuesday, as the Bulls traveled to Westminster and knocked off No. 9 Westminster, 14-13.
In a back-and-forth battle, Hereford’ Graeme Eber was the difference maker, scoring three goals and issuing three assists to lead the Bulls’ attack.
Three other Bulls also netted hat-tricks as Lily Cavallaro, Caroline Peterson and Isabella Peterson each netted three scores. Elizabeth May and Anna Brandt also scored for Hereford.
Westminster's Caroline Frock was the game's high point producer as she scored four times and handed out three assists. Teammate Madi Macera scored four times.
The Owls led at the half, 4-3.
Hereford, of Baltimore County, improved to 7-2 with the victory. With the loss, Westminster is also now 7-2 overall.
