Senior's five-hitter lift Hawks past Elkton; freshman Duffy swipes three bases
Jordan Wax pitched a five-hitter and freshman Bobby Duffy had two hits and stole three bases as North Harford High defeated Elkton, 7-1, in an UCBAC Chesapeake baseball contest in Cecil County Monday afternoon.
The Hawks (4-4 overall, 1-3 Chesapeake) broke a 1-1 tie with four runs in the fourth inning, courtesy of two-run single from Jake Helewicz and Nick Phillips' two-run double. Duffy also scored two runs.
Wax allowed a run and struck out four. North Harford hosts C. Milton Wright Wednesday in Chesapeake action.
