After just one win last spring, the Saints are 7-1
Don’t look now, but the St. Mary’s boys’ lacrosse team appears to be back.

The Saints suffered a stunning decline from the 2015 MIAA A Conference lacrosse championship to a 1-15 season in 2016, but the ship appears to have been righted in 2017. On Saturday, St. Mary’s blitzed Calverton, 17-8, to improve to 7-1 this spring.

Ian Krampf led the way with five goals and three assists and Taylor Bohanan was also a big contributor with three goals and four assists.

Tristan Michie added two goals, Lachlan Hertel had one goal and one assist, and Kevin Byrne, Alex Wicks, Jimmy Rayburn, Ryan Jones, Jack Burnett and Gerard Berzins all had one goal each.

Also, Aleric Fyock had nine save in the St. Mary’s goal and Alex Ulrich won 16-of-24 face-offs.
