Saints top The Heights, 4-1
While some high school baseball programs are still having trouble getting on their winter ravished baseball diamonds, No. 12 St. Mary’s has already played five games, including the Saints, 4-1, win over The Heights, on Saturday.

Best of all for the Saints, they have won all five to create a nice start to their 2017 season.

In Saturday’s win, Colin Taeschner pitched five innings, striking out five and allowing just one hit. He also did it at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI.

Clay Wargo added one hit in two trips and run batted in, while Brandon Cook earned a save.
