Cinquanto sparks St. Mary’s baseball to a win in its opener

Saints rout Wilson (DC), 14-6
The St. Mary’s varsity baseball team opened its 2017 season on the road in Washington, D.C., Thursday, and the Saints had their bats working in a 14-6 rout of host Wilson.

Nick Cinquanto sparked the Saints with a 4-for-4 effort at the plate and he drove in two runs.

Brandon Cook, Clay Wargo and Nick Hopkins all had two hits each for the Saints, while Brock Goodwin was the winning pitcher.
