Rams gain second-place in UCBAC boys' hoops; Burgess records double-double

Senior forward Ryan Burgess finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds and sophomore Rayshod Hooper added 13 points as Edgewood High defeated Elkton, 87-60, in an UCBAC Chesapeake boys' basketball contest Tuesday in Harford County.

Jahlil Scott and junior Civon Edwards each had 11 points for the Rams (14-6 overall, 8-4 Chesapeake), who finished tied for second with Harford Tech (8-4) in the division. Junior Tiare Waldon handed out nine assists.

Edgewood completes its regular season schedule with non-league matches at Baltimore City program New Era Academy and Bluford Drew Jemison, Thursday and Friday, respectively.
