No. 2 Eagles win league finale behind Jacobs and Liles


Kayla Liles and Morgan Jacobs each scored 15 points as second-ranked McDonogh School defeated St. Vincent Pallotti, 63-25, in an IAAM A Conference girls' basketball contest in Laurel Thursday.

The Eagles (21-2 overall, 10-2 IAAM A) built a 33-11 halftime advantage in their regular season league finale. The Owings Mills school will host John Carroll School in a playoff quarterfinal Tuesday. 

McDonogh will play at No. 15 Poly in its regular season finale Saturday afternoon. Pallotti (11-12, 3-9 IAAM A), which got seven points from Jania Hall, will play at No. 7 Seton Keough in a playoff quarterfinal Tuesday.
