Five score in double figures as No. 3 Perry Hall routs Catonsville
No. 3 Perry Hall has its eyes on a 4A state basketball championship, after reaching the state finals one year ago. Along the way, however, the Gators have earned the right to play for another title, one that eluded them one year ago.

With Wednesday’s 77-55 rout of Lansdowne, the Gators (18-2 overall), improved to 10-0 in Baltimore County’s Division II, clinching the Division II crown and a spot in the Baltimore County boys’ basketball championship game, later this month. The Gators will meet Milford Mill Academy, which has clinched Division I, in the title game on Feb. 21 at Towson University's SECU Arena.

Five players scored in double figures on Wednesday for coach George Panageotou, with junior Anthony Higgs leading the way with 16 points. Darrell Green added 15 points and James Rider finished with 13. In addition, Aaron Butler added 12 points and Laquill Hardnett finished with 11 points.

Perry Hall took control early, building a 35-18 lead at the half.

Jake Getzendanner led Lansdowne with 10 points. The Vikings fell to 8-9 overall and 4-5 in the league.
