Palmisano scores four goals; Clemons has four assists

In its first on-field appearance since falling to Concordia Prep in last year’s MIAA C Conference soccer championship game, the Glenelg Country boys soccer team showed it is ready to compete for the title once again, with a 7-1 league win over visiting Beth Tfiloh in Ellicott City.

The Dragons scored four times in the first half and finished off the Warriors with three more in the second stanza to post the rout.

Matt Palmisano finished off four goals and Ryan Clemons had four assists.

GCS also got goals from Parket Holbrook, Peter Karabatis and Cole Fisher. Karabatis also added an assist.

Justin Tepper scored the lone goal for Beth Tfiloh (0-2 overall, 0-1 MIAA C), in the first half.
