Friends School celebrated its first football victory of 2016, as the Quakers ran behind a big performance from Kavon Samuels to a 30-6 non-conference win over SEED School.

Samuels had a great afternoon for the Quakers (1-2), gaining 132 total yards with two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving. Tres Conaway had 12 carries for 35 yards and a touchdown, while David Gantt threw for 103 yards and a score.

Quaker Linebacker Skyler Kessenich had five solo tackles, one forced fumble, and also grabbed an interception.  Conaway added five solo tackles.

Friends head coach Jason Murphy, in his first season with the team, recorded his first win as a Quaker.
