Sophomore Sally Fraker scored two goals as Towson High defeated 14th-ranked Patterson Mil, 2-1, in a non-league field hockey opener in Bel Air Friday afternoon.

Jamesy Wood stopped 16 shots in goal for Towson (1-0 overall). University of Maryland recruit Linnea Gonzales, last year’s VSN Field Hockey Player of the Year, scored for Patterson Mill in the second half.

Grace Baltimore finished with 12 saves for the Huskies (0-1).
